Banksia Park Concert Bands Inc is a community band program in Tea Tree Gully that has been running since 1975. For 50 years it has been providing opportunities for musicians to play in a concert band setting, as well as supporting the local and Adelaide community by providing music at many different events

The program aims to

• provide opportunities for children and adults to learn to play a musical
  instrument.
• develop a spirit of co-operation and team work vital to the success of
  the Association.
• develop the confidence and self-esteem of musicians through
  performance in a stimulating and safe environment.
• promote musical education and performance amongst children and
  adults in the community

The program currently has one band, the Tea Tree Gully Redbacks and in July 2024 will be starting a new band, Dawn to Dusk aimed at less experienced musicians.
